Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) is supported by HBCD through the Ministry of Missions.

Love INC enables churches in a community to coordinate their resources and services so those in need are not turned away.

As churches join together to show Christ's love to their neighbors, communities see exciting results:

• People in need receive immediate and long-term help.
• Church members use their unique gifts and talents through specific, manageable opportunities to serve others.
• Churches work together across denominational lines, modeling the unity of the Body of Christ
• Lives and communities are transformed.

What’s New at Love INC - May 2012?

1. The new Bike Ministry is gearing up!  Bike mechanics, bike parts, used bikes, and compassionate people are needed.  If you can help, contact the clearinghouse at 815-217-0082 or email the director at .
   
   
2. The coming heat of summer means that your unused window air conditioners could help keep someone cool.  Help us get ready for the hot months by helping us stock up on air units.
   
   
3. Do you enjoy talking on the phone?  Office volunteers are needed each morning from 9:00 to noon to respond to those in need who call.
   
   
4. If you know of a parent in need of baby items, have them call Love INC so that we can hook them up with Moses’ Basket, a gap ministry of Wesleyan Church.  Or, call to donate baby items.
    
5. Has your congregation established a gap ministry for Love INC yet?  Together, we can do so much to share the love of Christ.  Call 815-217-0082 for some ideas for serving!
