Harvest Bible Chapel of DeKalb is an exciting newer church bringing the ministry of Harvest Bible Chapel to DeKalb County, IL. Harvest - DeKalb is a partner member of the Harvest Bible Fellowship (www.harvestbiblefellowship.us), which plants churches and seeks to edify, protect, encourage and support church leaders. Harvest Bible Fellowship has over 40 churches in the United States, Canada and around the world. Each Harvest Bible Chapel is an independent, elder-governed church and is committed to contemporary ministry without compromising the essential tenets of the Christian faith. Harvest – DeKalb is patterned after the original Harvest Bible Chapel, in Rolling Meadows, IL, well known for the radio ministry Walk in the Word featuring Dr. James MacDonald.

The first public worship service as Harvest Bible Chapel of DeKalb was held on November 11, 2007. This growing church is building upon a strong foundation of committed believers who are devoted to fulfilling Christ’s Great Commission to make disciples. DeKalb is the home of Northern Illinois University and provides a great opportunity and responsibility to reach the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Harvest - DeKalb has identified the need to build a ministry staff dedicated to discipleship and evangelism. We are seeking an individual who feels called to lead our Student Ministries and to help develop parents, children and students whose lives are committed to daily surrender to Christ Jesus.
